Alison Drasdo is a PhD biochemist with a career in science, healthcare and education.

In her free time she hosts themed dinners and highlights cultural events to friends and colleagues.

As #CulturalSignposter she publishes these as microblogs

She is a creative character that looks around and wonders… what would it be like to live there?

Her lively curiosity led her to research the heritage of the places she visits

and imagine characters that could inhabit these places.

From this arose the Traveller’s Companions for The Wild Atlantic Way, Northumbria and Suffolk.

She is working on more companions

for the Yorkshire Coast, Orkney, Peak District, Cornwall and Norfolk

as her wonderings and wanderings continue.
